Last week, I got a call close to midnight on a chilly night from a family who lived an hour out.
There was a break in their water heater causing outside temperatures to overtake their home. I thought about closing up Faulstick Plumbing and going home but when I received their call I knew what I had to do. I’ve been repairing plumbing issues since high school so I knew this would be a quick fix.
All I had to do was drive up to Nazareth and get to work and when I did, the sight I seen was nothing less than familiar. 30 minutes was all I needed to shut off the power and water supply, drain the water and replace the valve. After executing the plan, the family was once again able to enjoy the cold, wintery, night from the comfort of their heated home.
The looks on their face was all the gratitude I needed as I walked out a little tired but ready to face the next challenge. Water heater breaks can be stressful especially when you feel that crisp gust of wind, but Faulstick plumbing is here for you. With over 40 years of experience, no job is too difficult or out of our range.
As I drove back, I reflected on how happy the family was from such a simple fix and thought to myself, “I can go another 40 years.”
